Sweet Greens Smoothie

 
 

If you’re looking to add some more greens into your diet try this nutrient dense smoothie! Kale and spinach are a great source of calcium, Vitamin A + K. This smoothie is also very high in potassium and fiber.

Tips: Using frozen fruit in smoothies will make the texture thicker and creamier. The amount of liquid you add will also change the consistency so if you like a thicker smoothie add a little less liquid.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup kale

  • 1/2 cup spinach

  • 1/4 cup cucumber

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 green apple

  • Half of a lemon juiced

  • 1 cup water


Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy!
